Catalog capacity & pricing
How much of your product catalog is included in your plan, what extra capacity and extra update volume cost, and where to see your live numbers. Use this page when your catalog is growing past your plan's included amount, or when you're deciding which plan fits your inventory.
Catalog pricing has two independent parts:
- Capacity — how many products are indexed (how big the catalog is)
- Update volume — how often those products change (how much the catalog moves)
Most stores never pay for either: the included amounts cover a full catalog with a daily full refresh.
What's included in each plan
Every plan includes a number of indexed products — the total across all product sources in your account (feeds, spreadsheets, catalogs, Instagram products, and the product catalog of a connected CRM once product sync is on).
| Plan | Indexed products included |
|---|---|
| Solo, Standard, Pro | 10,000 |
| Multipro | 25,000 |
| Corporate | 100,000 |
| Agents, UGC, Voice plans | 10,000 |
| Trials | 10,000 |
Everything else about your catalog is included at no extra charge, whatever its size:
- Categories — your full category tree, up to the platform limit
- Automatic updates — your feeds re-sync as often as every hour (see update volume for very high-churn catalogs)
- Image indexing and image search — up to 20 images per product
What counts toward your capacity
Every source that the assistant can search products in counts, whether or not it has its own card on the Knowledge Base page:
- Product feeds, spreadsheets and catalogs you added under Knowledge Base → Products & inventory.
- Instagram products, once indexing is on for the channel.
- A CRM's product catalog — KeyCRM or Sitniks with product sync turned on in the connection's settings. It counts once per CRM account: if several assistants use the same CRM key, they share one indexed catalog rather than each adding their own copy.
When your account is over its included amount, the Knowledge Base page shows the full breakdown — every counted source with its product count — right under the page header, so the total always adds up from sources you can see.
Removing a source removes its products from the count. Disconnecting a feed, turning off a CRM's product sync, or removing a CRM connection from your last assistant clears its indexed products. Products of a connection you have just removed may show as being cleared for up to a day before they stop counting.
What extra capacity costs
Going over your included amount costs $5 per month for every started 10,000 products above it.
A few examples on a Multipro plan (25,000 included):
| Your catalog | Over included | Extra per month |
|---|---|---|
| 24,000 products | — | $0 |
| 30,000 products | 5,000 | $5 |
| 60,000 products | 35,000 | $20 |
| 120,000 products | 95,000 | $50 |
The charge follows your catalog automatically: if you trim your feed or move to a plan with more included capacity, the extra charge shrinks or disappears on its own. Counts update daily.
Catalog update volume
Every product change your sources push — a price move, a stock flip, a new description — is an update. Your plan includes enough update volume each month to refresh your entire catalog about once a day, free: 30 updates per indexed product per month (counted against your included capacity or your actual catalog, whichever is larger — extra capacity you pay for brings its update allowance with it).
Only unusually active catalogs go past that — for example a feed that rewrites every product every hour. Volume above the included amount costs $5 for every started 250,000 updates, billed once, after the month ends, on your next invoice.
Two accounts with the same 100,000-product catalog:
| Sync behavior | Updates per month | Extra per month |
|---|---|---|
| Full refresh once a day | ~3,000,000 | $0 (within included) |
| Every product rewritten every hour | ~72,000,000 | $1,380 |
Not all updates cost the same to process, so they are weighted:
- A value change (price, stock, availability) counts as 1 update — the platform refreshes the stored values in place.
- A meaning change (name, description, category) counts as 5 updates — the platform re-analyzes the product for search, which costs more to process.
The live usage numbers apply these weights automatically; you don't need to track the difference. A typical store's changes are almost entirely value changes.
You'll get a notification and an email the first time a month's volume crosses the included amount, so the charge is never a surprise. Lowering an integration's refresh period (for example from hourly to every 6 hours, on the Knowledge Base page) is the quickest way to cut update volume.
See your numbers in the app
- Subscription page — a card shows your indexed products against your plan's included amount, and the exact extra charge if you're over.
- Knowledge Base page — the Catalog pricing calculator (ⓘ next to the Product section) lets you type any product count and see the monthly price for it. Each connected feed also shows a note when your account is over its included capacity. https://app.mychatbot.app/subscription
How you're billed
- Card subscription (Stripe): extra capacity appears as a line on your regular subscription invoice, prorated automatically; extra update volume is added once, after the month it happened in. You'll get a notification and an email when either first grows past the included amount, so no charge is ever a surprise. On the invoice the lines read Catalog overage: 10,000 extra indexed products (quantity = number of started 10,000-product blocks; a mid-month change shows as a pair of Unused time on… / Remaining time on… proration lines for the old and new quantity) and Catalog updates overage for <month>: N × 250,000 updates above your plan's monthly allowance. All invoices are under your avatar → Billing → Manage on Stripe.
- Invoice billing: if your subscription is invoiced manually, both lines are added to your regular invoice — your feeds keep syncing without interruption either way.
- No active subscription: feeds larger than the included amount can't be indexed until you subscribe or upgrade.
Keeping your catalog lean
Two easy ways to stay under your included amount:
- Filter your feed — most shop platforms can exclude out-of-stock or archived items from the export URL. A leaner feed is also faster to search.
- Split test data out — if you keep a staging feed connected, disconnect it when you're not using it; a disconnected source stops counting as soon as its products are cleared (see what counts).
